Field Service Technician

Location: Georgetown, GY

Responsibilities:

• Visit customers in every part of Guyana and eventually internationally
• Troubleshoot machines in the company’s warehouse or in the fields of any region of Guyana
• Analyze reasons for machine shutdowns
• Read electric and hydraulics’ drawings and diagrams
• Train users or operators
• Use appropriate tools to measure if components are damaged
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a broad range of mechanical systems and equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, power transmission systems, conveyors, and mobile equipment
• Provide assistance in operating functions as necessary

Requirements: 

• Associate's Degree in Engineering discipline or certificates from a Technical School in Mechanics or Electronics
• Previous experience and expertise in Electronics or Mechatronics to service construction machinery
• Mechanical aptitude required 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications 
• Good problem-solving abilities, proactive, fast learner, good organizational and time management skills, positive attitude
• Driver’s license
• Bilingual English – Spanish (ideal but not mandatory)
