Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, servers, routers, switches, and security systems across all operational sectors (Ship Repairs, Ship Building, and Dredging).
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and access control issues.
• Provide technical support for PLC-based control systems and ensure optimal functionality across multiple operational sites.
• Configure, program, and troubleshoot PLC units and Teledyne software for hydrographic surveying and dredge monitoring.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and specialized software applications.
• Ensure data security through regular backups, system recovery tests, and cybersecurity protocol enforcement.
• Support staff with first-line technical assistance and conduct training on system use and cybersecurity best practices.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, licensing, user credentials, system logs, and documentation of IT procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data protection standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support operational efficiency and minimize system downtime.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT support, preferably within an industrial or maritime environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of PLC systems and hands-on experience with Teledyne PDS.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with IP camera systems and communication protocols is considered an asset.
