Senior Account Executive - Energy & Chemicals

This role is part of the Sales & Marketing Division and is responsible for driving growth and commercial success for Omega 365’s integrated platform supporting planning, project controls, engineering deliverables, construction execution, and operational handover across complex capital projects.

The Senior Account Executive operates as a senior, quota-carrying individual contributor responsible for developing pipeline, advancing strategic opportunities, and closing enterprise-scale deals within complex capital project environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own and consistently achieve a significant annual revenue quota within the Energy & Chemicals market, managing opportunities from early qualification through negotiation and close

  • Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, solution positioning, commercial structuring, proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure

  • Develop and execute Energy & Chemicals-specific market plans, identifying target accounts, stakeholders, and prioritized opportunities

  • Independently prospect, qualify, and nurture leads, converting inbound and outbound interest into sales

  • Engage directly with senior client stakeholders (executive, commercial, project controls, digital, and delivery leadership) to understand business context, capital programs, delivery models, and buying intent

  • Position Omega 365 as a trusted advisor for integrated project delivery, articulating business value tied to planning reliability, schedule predictability, engineering execution, document control, construction readiness, operational handover, cost control, risk reduction, and portfolio visibility

  • Represent Omega 365 at industry events, conferences, webinars, and executive forums, with an expectation to actively speak and present on how integrated workflows improve capital project planning and execution

  • Provide accurate revenue forecasts and pipeline updates, proactively communicating changes in deal timing, scope, and probability

  • Proactively secure and coordinate discovery sessions, executive meetings, solution demonstrations, technical validation activities, and commercial discussions required to advance opportunities and successfully close deals

  • Partner closely with Solutions Consultants and other colleagues to plan, position, and deliver demonstrations, ensuring demos reflect realistic project execution workflows, pain points, and cross-functional delivery scenarios relevant to owner-operators and EPC organizations

  • Support client handover to Delivery and Operations teams, ensuring continuity from sales through implementation

  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of sales and marketing collateral, including presentations, case studies, proposal templates, and client-facing materials, based on field experience and buyer feedback

  • Stay informed on Energy & Chemicals market trends, delivery models, competitive offerings, and evolving customer needs to support credible, informed prospect engagement

  • Maintain accurate and timely records in company ERP/CRM systems to ensure visibility into pipeline, activity, and lead status

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and consistent go-to-market approach

  • Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with company policies and contractual agreements

  • Participate in and deliver on other initiatives as directed by your manager

  • Inform your manager of any potential problems, disputes, or issues that may impact the client's perception of success, the company's reputation, or the company's ability to meet its objectives

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Deep familiarity with the Energy & Chemicals market and how owner-operators plan and deliver large-scale capital projects.

  • Ability to engage credibly with project controls, engineering, construction, commissioning, and digital transformation stakeholders across large capital project organizations

  • Demonstrated ability to independently prospect, develop executive relationships, and create pipeline within complex enterprise sales environment

  • Proven track record supporting digital transformation initiatives within the Energy & Chemicals industry related to project delivery, project controls, engineering information management, and construction execution across large-scale capital projects

  • Demonstrated success selling enterprise software solutions supporting capital project planning, execution, controls, engineering information management, or operational readiness within complex industrial environments

  • Familiarity with one or more core capital project disciplines, including project controls, planning & scheduling, cost management, engineering document management, construction management, and commissioning

  • Highly self-directed and self-motivated, with strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management capabilities

  • Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events

  • Alignment with the company's values, culture, and objectives
